MP Bank was established in 1999 but it was originally an investment bank. It started offering retail banking services in 2008. It has one branch in Iceland and offers banking services to personal and business customers. Private banking services are also available for customers with a high net worth. Plus it offers investment banking services to corporations and institutions.
